Iron Workers Local 7

The Iron Workers Local 7, are the best-trained workers specializing in bridge, structural, ornamental, reinforcing, pre-engineered metal buildings, industrial maintenance, architectural, heavy rigging, and welding.

To apply, you must be 18 years of age or older, have a valid email address, and a valid credit or debit card. (Other documents are required after you’ve applied.)

Laborers Local 22

Laborers Local 22 members are skilled, experienced union members trained to work safely in building and highway construction.

To apply to become a Local 22 apprentice, you must be at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma or equivalent, have an active drivers license, your own reliable transportation to and from work, and be drug-free.

Qualified individuals should fill out the application at the Local 22 Union Hall in Malden between 9:00 A.M. and 12 P.M. on these scheduled dates: June 11, 2024 (9am-12 pm) September 10, 2024 (9am-12 pm) December 10, 2024 (9am-12 pm)

Operating Engineers Local 4

Operating Engineers Local 4’s Training Center prepares apprentices and journey members with the tools to excel in hoisting, excavation, and maintenance in New England’s top markets.

To meet the basic qualifications, Apprentices need to:
Be 18 or older.

Have a high school diploma or equivalent, valid drivers license, and a social security card

Be a citizen or permitted to work.

Laborers Local 151

Laborers Local 151 members are skilled, experienced union members trained to work safely in building and highway construction.

The Finishing Trades Institute of New England

The Finishing Trades Institute of New England encompasses programs for commercial and industrial painters, painting, industrial coating and lining applicator specialists, drywall finishers, glaziers, glassworkers, architectural metal workers and sign and display workers.

To meet the basic qualifications, Apprentices need to:
Be 18 or older.

Have a high school diploma or equivalent, valid drivers license, and a social security card

Be a citizen or permitted to work

Attend and successfully complete the apprentice information session

Complete a favorable interview with an assigned DC 35 interviewer

Pass a drug screening
