Power of Jobs provides information to the community in five categories. The information is easy to access on your mobile phone or computer or a computer at a library, the Y, a community center, or a friend’s home.  The information is easy to act on.  It is in the form of links, either directly to the programs or to the organizations providing the programs. 

1. Places to find a job today

  • Commonwealth of Massachusetts

  • Federal government

2. Apprenticeship programs

  • Union

  • Corporate

  • Government

3. Current recruiting campaigns of major employers

Upcoming job fairs

4. Local organizations that provide training in job skills, listed by type of job, in a range of industries

  • Healthcare

  • Hospitality/culinary

  • Biotechnology

  • Building trades

5. Programs that provide training and counsel for getting onto a successful career track

These are all free services and opportunities.  And most apprenticeship and internship programs pay you.
